During an attempted attack on the Awada Police station near the Obosi area of the State, Anambra police officers killed three attackers.
Christian Aburime, the governor’s chief press secretary, said in a statement on Monday that the incident occurred in the early hours of this morning (Monday).

In an attempt to ignite the station, the police shot and killed the three gunmen, according to Aburime, who also said that two AK-47 vehicles used in the aborted operation were retrieved.

The statement reads: “Again, in the early hours of today 20/02/23 these evil people, arsonists,s and murderers (UGM), made another deadly attempt to burn down Awada Police Station, near Obosi, Anambra State.

“They were repelled by gallant security personnel with 3 members of the gang taken down after an exchange of gun battle

“Two AK 47 were recovered with the vehicles used for the failed operation by the gang.”

This seems to be sponsored by external forces to suppress the chances of Mr Peter Obi in the presidential polls.

Of course it is! This useless thread is part of their diversionary tactics to try and deceive observers and throw them off the scent of the real culprits! Notice that besides the obvious and blatant lie that the useless OP can't defend, that anytime they create a thread like this, the usual Igbo-hating suspects emerge and fall over themselves to post abuse and blame targeting Peter Obi, IPOB/ESN and Ndigbo generally! And the common denominator linking all of them together is that they're embittered anti-OBI and Pro-Tinubu proponents, are usually recently registered (primarily for the purposes of spreading misinformantion and hate for this election period), and have a post history generally unfavourable towards Igbo interests!
