Representatives of the top management of educational institutions are appointed to manage these “districts”.

“The mobilization will be likely carried out before April 1 – the beginning of the spring draft for conscription,” HUR explained.

If necessary, the start of the draft can be postponed.”

Yes, Ukraine was part of the USSR when the Germans invaded in 1941, and some of the fighting took part in Ukraine, but most of the fighting was in Russian territory and the goal of the invasion was to capture Moscow which was in the heart of Russia, an Estimate of 70% of the Soviet army as at then were ethnic Russians, and that invasion is sometimes called the German - Russian war.

Please let me also remind you that some Ukrainians even welcome German troops into their territory thinking that the Germans were there to liberate them, but reality soon dawn on them when the Germans started killing Ukrainian Jews and other Ukrainians.
