The former speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon Yakubu Dogara has described TInubu's "Emilokan" as heresy. In a series of tweets released by on his official Twitter handle he wrote:

"As we go to the polls remember that we can not put a set of people, half addicted to rage and the other half addicted to delirium, into leadership and still hope that we can rise above the contradictions which define their very nature; for they will only reproduce themselves.

Note also that Democracy anywhere does not give permission to its citizens to be their worst selves. A people who knowingly suborn the gormless into leadership positions have wittingly or unwittingly resolved never to rise. Come on Nigeria, we are better than this!

Doing things for others and demanding that they pay you back amounts to doing the right things for the wrong reasons- the very definition of heresy. Is it said that, "the most truly generous persons are those who give silently without hope of praise or reward." #emilokanisheresy

The former Speaker of the House of Representatives, has previously asked Christians in Nigeria not to waste their votes by voting for the Muslim/Muslim presidential ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 election.

Yakubu is a drowning politician who is bitter because of his selfish interests and ambition.He was in APC until after the Presidential primaries then he moved to PDP.He was hoping he would be the vice presidential nominee to Tinubu and when that did not work out,he started saying all sorts of rubbish against Tinubu.How shameless and disgraceful can Yakubu be?

If your political calculation were perfect as you plan, you wouldn't have said it's heresy. Just because you were denied Vice president slot and it is based on your political value. They don't give sensitive positions to political proustite like you. You lack political value.

Dogara is a religious bigot , I'm a Christian and I don't care whether its Muslim Muslim or Christian christian tickets, I go for competence and track record. What changed since we had been choosing Muslim-christian tickets ? Instead of going for competence , we are allowing religious sentiment becloud our reasoning . Tinubu is my choice 100%

Imagine the gut in a populated country of over 200 million people of different high and low classes!
It's undemocratic.
A reasonable politician/democrat avoid such comment. I blame it on his dementia.
He's old and mentally unproductive. Tinubu as Lagos governor years back is not fit for bigger problem of a nation like Nigeria today. He has questionable characters too. APC added no value to Nigeria
Only a foolish bigot or person will vote Tinubu or Apc. That person is an enemy of Nigerians' dream and betterment.
Look at European and Asian countries with young leaders and check their impacts. Leadership nobi agbado, ewa and cassava! grin

He lost out completely in the new dispensation. He wanted to be VP but cannot guarantee one state even his state Bauchi for Tinubu. It doesn't work that way.
