Reports reaching Politainment.net is that the Labour Party leadership has expressed dismay at the alleged electoral malpractice that took place during the National Assembly and Presidential elections in Rivers State on Saturday.

The party has called for the cancellation of the elections in the state in the interest of justice. Barrister Julius Abure, the National Chairman of the party, made this demand on Sunday in Abuja.

He explained that evidence abounds that thugs invaded various polling units and collation centres. Also, he believes these thugs are agents of the state government. The thugs took away election materials, he claims.
