THE PLACE OF NORTHERN CHRISTIANS IN NATIONAL & NORTHERN POLITICS IN THE POST-2023 ERA !

By Ameenu A. Aym

Speaking in general terms, the politics of 2023 elections has shown how Northern Christians negatively over exposed themselves to be more bigoted than Muslims in the North, and more bigoted than Christians from the South.

Northern Christians have shown themselves to be a people whom the larger Muslim population in the North would never trust with to act as their representative or with political power, even on a sub regional level.

No national politician worth his salt such as Tinubu will ever trust them or their leadership again.

They will continue to be used as canon fodders during national elections in an effort to swing symbolic votes that would always end up not determining victory such as in Kaduna State in 2019 & 2023, and against Buhari in the North during the 2015 & 2019 presidential polls.

They would continue to be led like sheep to slaughter and used to fester ethnic and religious conflicts in the North by their cash and carry bigoted politicians, clerics and elders.

Regardless of Tinubu's win or not (God forbid), the Yoruba establishment and the SW press that have provided media cover, attracted underserved public sympathy to their side in their violent, atrocious and bloody campaign of violence against Hausas and Fulanis in minority Christian majority areas would now have no choice but have a rethink, and withdraw the propaganda and disinformation campaign they waged against the Hausa and Fulani people in favour of Northern Christians, especially seeing how the Hausa and Fulani+ Kanuri people teamed up to emerge as the backbone of the Tinubu candidacy from his victory at the primaries to general elections.

Even the people of SS such as Wike would see through their serial betrayal as personified by Gov. Ortom's last minute turn-coatism to back away from the stand of the G5 to support the stand of his Christian brethren in the North and throw his weight in support of Peter Obi !

The Northern Christians are the new political Igbos to emerge out of the 2023 elections, especially with the way and manner they allowed their hatred for Northern Muslims and Islam to expose their inner-most and core hatred for anything Islam and the North.

The elders, clergy and supporters from the fold of the pentecostal pastopreneurs helped the Northern Christians in this campaign as they all went gaga and reckless with pronouncements from the pulpits: that they are out to show Muslims that they are greater in numbers and so must determine who must rule over Nigeria, that a Christian must emerge as President.

One mad Igbo pastor based in Abuja in a congregation filled with his Igbo and Northern Christian brethren openly declared war against Northerners and Muslims in general.

He went as far as to wield an AK-47 in the full glare of the public, and in a church used the illegal firearm to preach from the pulpit and called for a war against his imaginary Muslim enemies during and after the 2023 polls !

The North East would in future never forget how Northern Christians turned their back on their two sons, one contesting as President and the other as a VP candidate after allowing dozens of minority Northern Christians to represent the zone and the North in national positions...

The NE would never allow a Northern Christian such as Dogara or Babacir etc to represent their zone in any national position again.

The NW would say we know them and have said a lot about their bigotry in the past but nobody believed us until now !

Like the Igbos of the SE, Northern Christians would emerge as the new crybabies and inheritors of the victimhood tag from the Igbos post 2023.

They placed all their political eggs in one basket ...

Marginalisation awaits them at the gates and in place of the easy patronage they enjoyed in the past, both from the north and nationally too.

As they always say in the North: "Fear who no dey fear Northern Christian" !

When the Northern Christians were being killed by herdsmen, you didn't write this long epistle. Don't worry, Obi's performances in those areas will help in demystifying the Northern dominance in Nigerian politics.

Why do you guys use the word hate so freely? If someone feels they marginalized and speaks out you say they hate you.

saying they are ungrateful because you ALLOWED them to participate in government smacks of mediocrity.

I don't blame anyone. Na Niger Delta oil dey keep Nigeria together. That's what most politicians are coming to the center to do. To loot and share the proceeds of oil.

The mistake Northern Christians made was to go on caimpaign of calumny against thebody of Nigerian mislims ( Northern and Western). They ratger should have taken caution than threw it up the wind. A lack of recent knowledge of history was also their bane, they would have learnt that Igbos are an unlucky charm to whoever they support. How can I of who are helpless and having struggled over the years for a status in the country, provide security to Northern Christians who are already repressed. Northerner Muslims are tops of the hierarchy in the North while they are stuck to their apron. However, Tinubu, for who he is, will reconcile all parties. If there's someone who will pacify all parties, that man is Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Total nonsensical post. Igbophobia and hatred for Northern Christians are written all over. So riddle me, why should Northern Christians stick with APC when they have been butchered across their communities and disregarded traditionally in states governed by the APC? Why should a Northern Christian vote for Tinubu when he has said nothing or done anything about the incessant slaughtering of their kith throughout Northern Nigeria? Why should they support the APC in Plateau, Nasarawa or Borno seeing how they suffered over eight years? You think they are so hypocritical and treacherous like Christians in the south west who have no skin in the game? They knew the stakes available and did what their conscience will judge them for. Unfortunately, they voted for someone who wasn't going to win. The best alternative would have been to vote for Atiku after making sure Peter Obi steps down.

About the media help, another mendacious tale. Apart from Oyedepo, no single Yoruba pastor of any mega church or even minor condemned the slaughtering of Christians in Northern Nigeria. Not even Osinbajo has visited their communities. Osinbajo never uttered a word of condemnation towards the relentless slaughtering of Christians in Kaduna or Taraba. He never did. The only people who trumpeted their cries were Igbos, and expectedly, they voted for an Igbo man.

If you want slaves, say it clearly. Rather than spewing spurious claims that they put all their eggs in one basket whereas the owner of the other basket continually throws away their eggs.

The same Tinubu who has never condemned the relentless slaughtering of Christians in Northern Nigeria? Has his wife ever visited Christians in Northern Nigeria even as a fake deaconess in RCCG? The last time Adeboye was in the north, he pleaded with El-Rufai to release kidnapped RCCG members but said nothing when students of Greenfield University and Forestry were kidnapped, raped and slaughtered. You Yoruba Christians are very treacherous and heartless. I'm glad Northern Christians now know who you lots are and will act accordingly.

That said, any Northern Christian who attends RCCG or Winners Chapel or Mountain of Fire is a very deluded person. You attend churches who protect your political interests.

I never knew we still have stupid people in this country like whoever that wrote this piece of trash. You have the guts to call northern Christians bigots? Indeed if men were God.
Where were you when Deborah was killed by demons in the name of religion? You are feast over her gruesome murder.
Has the northern Muslim ever allowed Christians a fair share in the region? This underscores the fact why Tinubu have to go for a Muslim Muslim ticket to pacify the bigoted and extremities.
Leah Shaibu is still in captive only because she's a Christian, Elrufai openly paid billions to his kingsmen saying Fulani don't forgive bla bla bla, they are still killing people in Christian communities in Kaduna.

Yet you deemed it fit to come here and spew trash because you are not feeling the heat at the moment. Don't worry, those that voted for or walked hundreds of kilometers for Buhari were not spared when the hardship sets in.

Northern Christians will be forgiven their sins.

The South will come through for Northern Christians at the right time.

The killings, destruction, and loss of their homelands that happened under Buhari is enough to make them permanently divorce themselves from the North.

You cannot be killing your neighbors' children, raping their wives, and evicting them from their homelands and claim you are a brother. Cain also claimed to be Abel's brother.

Obi was used deviously to sabotage their interests. 16 years under the PDP, OBJ, Yar'Adua, and GEJ did their best to keep the predators out. Osinbajo was used in 2015. Obi was used this year.

If Dogara comes out, even if he has only 1 vote in the entire country, it will be me. I will vote him over any Southerner dead or alive.

Some of you that have never crossed your state boundary have no idea what is going on in the Bible Belt of the North. Survival first. The Christian Generals have to hold the fort for now. We will play the long game.

If it was only hatred, it would have been much better, but your islamists continue slaughtering Christians throughout Northern Nigeria. The facts are there. Don't gaslight anyone here with your fake love. When have you condemned El-Rufai for his silence towards the massacre of Southern Kaduna indigenes, huh?

Love my forehead!
Islam teaches us to do justices to everyone even if we are not on the page; the way we treat you never treat us. If you are talking about killings, you killed our people more than our people killed yours. In Jos, Pleteau state there was a lake along the federal high way that people (northern christians) living there used to kill muslims people passing through the way and throw their dead bodies with their vehicles into the lake. More than 500 dead bodies, 100+ vehicles including cars, buses and motor cycles found in the same lake. It was come to notice when one hausa-muslim army general was killed there and nothing ever happen to the culprits even though it saddens me the culprits are not brought to face the law and guess what? It is during this regime of Buhari the lake was found and nothing happen to the culprits. If I were the president, I would have burnt the culprits, their neighbourhoods alive and throw their ashes into the same lake
