Obi cannot top the north. He needed more than mere campaigns to make his presence there. He needed to understand politics better. Politics isn't always about what the people wants nowadays ..it's about how you protect it, and if possible, make vulnerable the protected areas of your opponents. The politics of the north has always been done without cameras. That should be every politician's target. 1 Like |

Obi will beat Atiku with way more than that in Abia State. If Obi doesn't win it will be a run off between Obi and Atiku. Obi will still Win anyways. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Parachoko: If there's no rerun then Obi takes it easily. Lesson to be learnt, don't always count on a pattern to work all the time,it's a psychological error to do so. APC especially Lagos banked on Tribal hate, pointing out Igbo, but they forget that there are millions of people from all Tribes even foreign in the beautiful city of shine your eyes as you enter Lagos State. |

chatinent: Politics in the north is much about stomach infrastructure. The night before election day, most governors in the north, went from house to house sharing 2 packs of spaghetti. This was what LP fail to understand that election is won by giving...we no dey give ShiShi can work in the south but not in the north. Someone in the north can sell their votes for just 500 naira. The poverty in that region is higher than we can imagine. Everything here is mostly done by govt. |

chatinent:The mistake he made...even if it was 2billion naira, use it to buy their vote 1000 or 500 divided by 2 billion would you sizeable numbers. With plateau, Taraba, Nasarawa, Kaduna, Benue and Adamawa already in the bag for 25%. Sometimes they need more than just words to convince the people of northern Nigeria. |

vhykeeytor: Yeah, most politicians talk too much. Atiku was busy doing his underground work down north. |

Jagaban is not doing badly at all. Following Atiku bumper to bumper in Atiku's zone. But the hero of this election as I predicted is Obi. Obi singlehandedly won it for Asiwaju. 1 Like |

vhykeeytor: This is not completely true. Everyone can be bought in Nigeria not just northerners. Northerners believes in structure, all alhajis has many people under him and can instruct them to do his bidding without necessarily giving out money. It's called absolute loyalty. It'll be difficult to break this barrier as a southerner unless you negotiate with the leadership of the structure. Obi lack that. |
Re: Atiku Won Obi With Over 300,000+ Votes In Gombe by vhykeeytor(m): 12:25pm On Feb 27, 2023 |
Obaofaba: So the APC govt sharing Taliah in the north on the eve of election day is air they were giving abi. What do you classify as best...best in thuggery, ballot snatching, voter intimidation and vote suppression, or best in falsifying election results. You need to go back to school if you don't know the meaning of best at your age. |

vhykeeytor: Is there a time that alms giving is forbidden? So long no one brought it to the voting arena, it's lawful. Besides, any evidence to show those agents are of APC or Asiwaju's boys? |

Re: Atiku Won Obi With Over 300,000+ Votes In Gombe by vhykeeytor(m): 12:30pm On Feb 27, 2023 |
Obaofaba: Alms giving for the first time in 4years and on election eve. Why didnt you give them every month to show you are giving alms. Besides, you give alms to people who ask for it, not by knocking at their door to give it to them. |

My surprise here is Obi leading Kwankwaso in Gombe. Someone that supposedly 'inherited' Buhari's 12 million votes. |
