The Independent National Electoral Commission in Benue State has announced the presidential election from five local government areas of the state.

The results were announced by returning officers of the local government areas respectively with due supervisor of the Collation Officer, Vice Chancellor, Federal University of Technology, Minna, Prof. Farouk Kuta.

In the five local government areas already announced, the presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi, won in three local governments, followed by the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu.

Meanwhile, the APC candidate is leading in votes cast from the five local government areas so far announced having polled 44,139 followed by Labour Party which scored 40,871 and PDP 18,680

The results are as follows:

Total valid votes: 18,669
Rejected votes: 511

This is too early to call.

But my joy is that we will eventually get 25% in Benue.

That is a great victory when you look at Muslim-Muslim coupled with fuel & Naira scarcity.

I tell you bro. No politician in this era can survive the obstacle Asiwaju surmounted if he eventually gets declared by INEC.

--Induced fuel Scarcity
--Muslim-Muslim ticket in an almost 50/50 nation
--Propaganda from some section of CAN
--Propaganda against his person, age, wealth, and etc
--A hostile cabal
--Buhari I don't care attitude
--Some extremely woke Yoruba youth voting against him
--A christian North with mind made up

Aside Asiwaju, the victory in this election is majorly from the Northern governor. They are the real MVP. If Tinubu had left things to the FG to handle, he would have been last in this election.

My greatest surprise in this election is from the North central geopolitical zone.
