The Lone Voice Of Small Fries With No Resonance

He said on behalf of the people of Than. In effect, he pretends to mass appeal, which is not what the mood of the people was. Besides, this collective voice has no resonance where the projected voice of the West stamps approval.

It's easy for losers to fall into modes of vindication and self-righteousness. How could Obi have won this election without northern votes, given the long and complicated history between the Hausas and Igbos?

If it's claimed that Tinubu rigged
the election, it's equally possible that Obi and Atiku rigged as well. Obi is only shouting from the pulpit of righteousness that he and his kinsmen are holier than thou.

I'm no fan of Tinubu. But when it became clear that the three main parties in the build up to the election had become sectional, I started supporting Tinubu.

In the end, each region supported their own in a sense. So, how is it now possible that Obi, without massive votes in the South West and core north states won this election?

Two things I've noticed about the Igbos overtime is, one,they are torn between two dilemmas: they hate, envy and despise the Yorubas, and see northerners as sub-humans.

Another thing about them is they pathologically feel they are smarter than everyone else. There's this sense of narcissism about them. And this is what they are playing out in this election saga.

* Obi never won this election. His deluded supporters were fed with illusory dreams of eldorado.
