My first salary was 17,500 in 1998. I used an inflation calculator and today its equivalent to 307,000 .Nigeria has gone to the dogs!
Back then I used to eat lunch at work with 50 naira ... good food with 2 pieces of meat and a pepsi orobo.... I rented a BQ in VI for 35k x2years thats 70k...bought my first car in 2000 for 140k... a 6 year old daewoo racer still clean .....500 naira petrol could fill my tank...it was 11 naira per liter
