He faces a real prospect of losing, and I don't think this APC candidate will listen to Tinubu right now. It seems too late.

The offer of a ministerial role, except if it is minister for petroleum, is not a good reason for passing on the chance of becoming a Governor.

That's not totally true.
I heard local government workers are not happy with him and they are mobilising against him.
People love him naturally tho and I think he would win too but it would be a tough battle.

Folarin is an experienced politician and Makinde already destroyed the coalition that brought him in 2019.
