Mercy is the expression of the love of God. Many Christians confuse mercy with grace. Mercy is not grace, however grace is given when mercy is obtained. Hebrews 4:16. Titus 3:5. Mercy is God's character released through faith in the BLOOD of Jesus Christ, which is available to justify sinners and to preserve the Saints (Lamentation 3:22); whilst grace is the goodness and favour of God activated by faith in the WORD of God. If mercy is not obtained, grace cannot be expressed. |
