I read somewhere that you can travel to the UK and Canada with any USA Visa on your passport but I want to know, can someone travel to the USA or Canada with a UK visa on your passport? Or which other countries can you travel to with a UK visa on your passport. Any tips and suggestions will be appreciated. |

Melanin07:UK isn't a country.. UK is made up of Britain and Ireland. Britain is then made up of England, Scotland and Wales. Therefore UK is made up of 4 countries, England Scotland, Wales and Ireland. Before you could go to any country that is part of the European Union with a UK Visa, but now after Brexit, I doubt it is possible to go to any other apart from the 4 mentioned above. |

You can travel to Turkey with a UK visa. (Wrong). Modified: Having read your submission above, I had to chat her up once again and the screenshot is attached for more clarification. There was indeed a mix-up in communication and understanding which all came from my part, I must admit. The last misunderstanding was where I thought she said she got the evisa upon arrival at Istanbul whereas what she meant was the usual entry stamp. For the sake of your research, anyone following this thread, and the dude that was cursing me out, I'm sorry for the misunderstanding and wrong information. She did get a Turkish visa from Nigeria to go with her UK visa which made it easier for her to obtain the Turkish. So, in truth, a Visa is needed on a Nigerian passport even with the UK visa stamped on it. I take full responsibility for the mix-up, misunderstanding, and wrong information. Apologies to everyone who might felt offended by this innocent but skewed submission. God bless. |

Please am talking about a UK visa not passport. I just wanted to know if I can travel to the USA with any type of VISA issued by any country in the UK. I want to apply for a visa to go to England but I have a conference to go to in New Jersey USA. I just wanted to know if I can visit the USA with my visa for England. I heard someone said you can travel to Turkey...is that correct. How about the USA and Canada. Please any further tips and suggestions will really be appreciated? |

Melanin07: No, you can't. That's only possible if you have a British Passport. Regardless of the type of UK visa (student or visitor) on your passport, you'd still need to get valid visas to visit Canada or the USA. 2 Likes |

Am just waiting to receive my letter of sponsorship from my employer before beginning the visa process. Like how long does the whole visa process take? Not sure how your essay relates to his question. His question was is there any country outside the UK that he can use his UK not British visa to enter.
