ECOWAS To Honour Buhari With Democracy Icon Award by Racoon(m): 8:28pm On Mar 07, 2023 |
The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has finalised arrangements to honour President Muhammadu Buhari with an award in recognition of his achievements in the defence and promotion of democracy as a system of government throughout the subregion. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2023/03/07/ecowas-to-honour-buhari-with-democracy-icon-award/amp/ https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.vanguardngr.com/2023/03/ecowas-to-bestow-on-buhari-democracy-icon-award/amp/ https://tribuneonlineng.com/ecowas-to-confer-democracy-award-on-buhari/ nlfpmod 8 Likes 3 Shares

The unfortunate president with the worst form of human, democratic and constitutional abuses that does not even obey ECOWAS court orders on the need to release Nnamdi Kanu who demanded a separatist state due to the injustices suffered by the dot nation under his useless, clueless, senseless, hopeless, impactless, and directionless government. However, same Buhari was advocating for the separation of Western Sahara from Morocco because it is a sunni country being oppressed by the salifists. What hypocrisy. "President Muhammadu Buhari has thrown his weight behind the people of Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic(SADR), otherwise called Western Sahara, stating that NIGERIA WOULD ENSURE THE REALIZATION OF THEIR SELF-DETERMINATION AND INDEPENDENCE..(from Morocco)http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/03/buhari-backs-western-sahara-on-self-determination-from-morocco/?utm_source=&utm_medium=twitter Nothing new! It is the same ECOWAS that hailed the recent sham conducted by INEC as "free, fair and credible" which many world bodies have condemned in strongest terms. 47 Likes 7 Shares |

Roboto11:Yeah! A Buhari that is leaving a nation far battered more than what he met in 2015 is well deserving to fellas with warped prismatic worldview. "What the rhetoric intentionally hopes to conceal, more than anything, is the nakedly transparent facts of the proven incapacity of the APC to govern and reform Nigeria after nearly seven years in power. In every imaginable index of human development, Nigeria has retrogressed under the lumbering weight of the incompetence of the APC. "..The truth is President Buhari finds running Nigeria a drudgery. He enjoys the perks of the office, but not the hard graft, not the toil. Look at the problems: insecurity, poverty, corruption, cost of governance, debt, etc. Buhari is unlikely to leave any of these better than he met it in 2015. And because he lacks the zeal for big, nation-transforming ideas, he would also leave Nigeria’s deeply-flawed politico-governance structure more skewed, and Nigeria’s unity and stability more fragile. The list is endless. No decent country on earth would reward the gang of incompetent know-nothings who presided over such an irrecoverable state of devastation and destruction of a country with continuity in governance. Of course, Buhari’s acolytes won’t see things that way. In a country where myopic and vested interests override the national interest, and where mediocrity is tolerated and celebrated, Buhari’s supporters are praising him to high heaven!..." Let’s not allow APC to propagandize us into accepting that their internal politics is our national politics. We should instead be asking them to account for the incalculable injuries they’ve collectively inflicted on our economy, our freedoms, our national emotions, and for reversing whatever little progress we were making before they took over. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2021/12/buhari-at-79-a-man-given-so-much-who-gives-so-little-back 14 Likes 2 Shares

This obidient movement will affect everyone both the politicians and the youth (obidient youth) and Nigerian at large because I see the same mistake that was made in 2015 when we were desperate for change and we got buhari/Apc suffering pro max These obi movements might end up voting in incompetence, inexperience and glutton that have not seem the kind of money they will be expose to and can be more corrupt than the person that was voted out For example It a sure disaster waiting to happen if a fresh graduate in engineering take up a 15 floor building project and intend to learn on the job Labour Party GRV can not use a state like lagos as a learning tool it’s surely a fast track to economic destruction 9 Likes 2 Shares |

This is nothing but a*slicking! How has Buhari promoted democracy? Is it by not allowing the will of the people during elections? Selectively honoring court orders, one-sided appointments? He still failed in the only area which would have enable people forget the pains of his Regime by giving a free, fair and credible election. In my opinion, whoever brought this idea of honouring Buhari as a promoter of democracy, should be castrated and locked up in a maximum security prison with hard labor. 4 Likes |
