The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) released a new global report on the food and nutrition crisis. In the report released, Nigeria and 11 other countries are hit by food and nutrition crises.

Poltainment.net confirmed that 7.3 million adolescent girls and women between the age of 15-49 are undernourished in Nigeria.

The report, titled ‘Undernourished and Overlooked’ was released ahead of International Women’s Day.

Shockingly, as the nutrition crisis Hits Nigeria and deepens, the nutrition disaster among adolescent girls and women grows. Conversely, the number of undernourished adolescent girls and women in Nigeria grew from 5.6 million to 7.3 million in 2021.
