Tribalism was started by a small group Ibo reta.rds who thought it was fun saying all sorts of nasty things about Yoruba and the "normal" folks rather than frown on it was supporting them with likes and lol etc. It went on for a long time before some few Yoruba, not more than three or four started to reply them. And it snowballed from there.
It wasn't the heated political arguments at all. Those who engaged in the political debates were far more cerebral than the illiterates who started the tribalism.

Nairaland politcs has gone and can’t be recovered..
so we make sue with what we have.. atimes I try to resist this tribal slurs . But Walahi is bitter., the mods ain’t doing nothing .. they’re bias.. and even more tribal than some monikers..

Nigeria need to heal .. and it must start from a place .. and Nairaland is the best place to start the healing process.

North is deeply divided but you hardly notice the difference.. you don’t even know the difference unless you’ve live long with them

The south is another thing.. Nairaland is majorly a southern forum ..
