Our Dealership Programme - Chairman's Statement (dr Jimoh Ibrahim) by Babasessy(m): 8:41am On Sep 15, 2011
Our dealership programme

It is my great pleasure to invite interested Nigerians to be Dealers in about 210 stations in various locations in Nigeria with high concentration in the South. The Dealership programme is developed as part of our initiatives to build young entrepreneurs who will begin to learn the art of how to manage business, starting with at least one filling station.

It is expected that before the year ends, a total of 210 dealers must have emerged running their stations with autonomy of power to employ staff, manage them in the station power to buy their own products from anywhere taking advantage of the Federal Government’s deregulation policy in the oil and gas industry. They will have full power to make their profit or loss without anything to do in reference to the Head office. They will have full power to maintain the facilities particularly our dispensing pumps and they will be expected to comply with all regulations of the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR).

No Dealer will be allowed to borrow money using the station or our equipment as security or change the colour or the brand of the station. No Dealer will also be allowed to sell contaminated products in the station. If you are interested in becoming a dealer, the procedures are very simple: you must have financial capacity to buy enough products that you intend to sell at the station. Whatever you sell at the station goes to your private account and the profit and loss belong to you. You will not report to anyone in respect of account and staff matters. You are required to obtain a form from our office at the Energy House 159/161 Broad Street Marina, Lagos for free but you will be required to pay processing fee of N50,000 when your application is successful. In the event that your application is not successful, it is at no cost to you.
