23rd of March will make it 6 month I change my oil I hardly drive it since I changed it haven’t drove it up to 1000 miles but it was supposed to be 6,000-10,000 miles from this oil. What can I do ?

kunkelhanspeter: Engine oil degrades whether used or not. For full synthetic oil we usually recommend 6months or 8,000km whichever comes first. Though some oil manufacturers recommend 10k to 15k miles but because of the Nigeria weather and driving dynamics it is advisable not to use upto that. Prevention is better than cure also a brandnew car is different from a tokunbo car. 1 Like |
