The quote "money is the root of all evil" is a wrong saying that is supposedly from the bible.

The actual quote is , the love of money is the root of all evil. It is not money itself but human behavior towards money.

Money is neutral—it’s paper. It’s just a medium of exchange— nothing more, nothing less.

As I have clarified it is not money itself but rather the love of money that is the root of all evil. When people love money, they are not free from it.

People whose thirst for money drives them to that extreme commit a vast majority of the crimes committed in society.

As strange as this is, it is not the people with credible wealth but people who do not have money who are usually the ones most affected by the spirit of mammon.

Having an excess of wealth creates its own problems, and it has ruined many people.
However, a lack of money and the desire to have it is responsible for most crimes and violence.

Just a cursory glance at history will reveal the extent to which this is true.

For example, in America crime flourished during the Great Depression at an alarming rate, even by today’s standards. From
the street gangs to the more sophisticated crime rings, there were myriads of activities among them, all aimed at making money.

During the 2016 recession, bank robberies , theft and many vices suddenly invreased.

However, the love of money is seen not only in the multiplicity of crimes being committed by the poor, but also in legal activities at the institutional level.

Since the court case of Roe v. Wade, 1973, in America over fifty million babies have been legally aborted this is in America alone. Some
see no wrong in this, while others consider it morally reprehensible. Whichever end of the spectrum you stand on, abortion is
a multibillion-dollar federally funded business that continues to flourish.

Antiabortionists have fought long and hard to have the laws overturned for the
protection of the unborn, but to no avail. A major reason why the killing of the innocent unborn is allowed to continue can only be explained by the love of money.

The same can be said of the pornography industry. It does not take a genius to see the negative impact of these things upon society. Yet is is everywhere.

The love of money affects people from every segment of society. It impacts the rich, the poor, and even our institutions.
