The FCT to be lay, is like the 37th state of the federation just as Washington in the US but does not stand to be referred to as a state for avoidance of issues. It is headed or supervise by a minister hence a melting point for all Nigerians. The FCT loss argument alone cannot upturn APC's victory as the presidential election in Nigeria is based on simple majority and not otherwise.
