Automatic transmission of results is not on the Electoral Act. Its simply a good will gesture to demonstrate transparency - it is NOT part of the requirements under the Act.

What is transmitted is a scanned PDF of form EC8A. That form is the result of an open voice count and is signed manually by all party agents. By the evening of the first day ALL parties know the results. ALL news agencies know the results. If parties were honest, by noon the next day, they should be congratulating the winner.

The SC will only over turn a result where it can be shown that INEC did not keep to the procedure UNDER the Act. Electronic upload to iRev is NOT in the Act.

No party can use its own results spreadsheet as acceptable evidence. Only INEC verified results are acceptable. Whoever wins in the collation centre as EVIDENCED by irev is the winner.

I don't get it, this INEC said it has fixed IREV since last month but it is still yet to upload all the presidential results till now

Imagine Sanwo-Olu jumping from church to mechanic workshops, from Arise to channels just one week before election. I have never seen where a body called “Independent” engage in propaganda in support of a candidate or party it is supposed to be “Independent” from

APCNEC - were the first to challenge the PDP and LP when these parties wanted the BVAS inspected - why? what is their interest ? why are they passionate about proving anything ?
