Construction of dual roads take several months to a year! It's different from completing a road within 100 days after 90% of it was completed by Oyetola.

When Oyetola came in, everything was in a mess. Several workers and pensioners who were unpaid by Aregbesola. One of the reasons why Oyetola found it difficult to be elected in his first term was because Aregbesola already spoilt ground for him.

As a matter of fact, Oyetola should have mentioned/broadcast everything he's been doing such as, payment of accrued salaries and pension, economy growth despite the large debt Aregbesola sunk Osun into but Oyetola was trying not to showcase Aregbesola's flaws. The same Aregbesola whom he was trying to protect betrayed him in the end. During the debate for example, Oyetola didn't say much. Although it could be due to his quiet nature but he should have talked.

That said, Oyetola still won the second election despite Aregbesola working against him. If not for the over voting done by PDP.

It is of note that in other democratic govt, development is a continuum but Nigeria this has been jettisoned,,new govt abandoning project of their predecessors. Starting new one afresh.
Before we have development plans where projects that will serve for 25-50 years are ear marked, that is no more. See the roads constructed now ,they are
of poor quality not durable ,there are no stone base ,they lay asphalt on laterite.

Federal road for 10 years and Buhari APC was in charge of FG for 8 years of the 10 years. What exactly did APC do as a government? The so called 2nd Niger bridge is still not completed, Lagos-Ibadan still uncompleted. Where did all the huge debt money go to?

They might, they might not...either way, with PDP in the House of Assembly in Osun State...it will be more difficult for Oyetola to govern. The whole matter is just a judicial mess.
