Though Chelsea had a lot of fluke chances today dat weren't converted, man u fielded more tactical penetration and confidence. |

Drogba's babalawo is still very busy, pressing the remote control buttons on Torres. After this season, nobody go tell Torres say make him carry him bag go back Spain, sharply! |

r231:is this not the same Torres that was criticizing his team mates by saying they are too old and slow?idiot. Half-fit Drogba is far better than this horrible Torres. Back to the game,Lampard,Sturridge, ramires and Miereles were simply not there.somebody should tell Andre Villas-Boas that Mikel is still very relevant in that midfield |

Interestingly Ferguson does not share most of you ManU fans opinion http://www.skysports.com/story/0,,11661_7187494,00.html Also match stats says something different Possession Man Utd50%Chelsea50% Attempts on target Man Utd7 Chelsea9 Attempts off target Man Utd5 Chelsea11 Corners Man Utd4 Chelsea10 Fouls Man Utd11 Chelsea12 But United took their chances and Chelsea did not. But the match showed The 2 clubs are on the same level. ManU is more together obviously because the new players came in on time and have blended more. Chelsea looks like a new team in the making and the new coach showed he is still tryin to determine his best eleven. |

The Match also exposed ManU's defence too much and ManU does not have a good midfield. They will suffer dearly against a team like Barca or Madrid. They depend too much on the wings. I guess Fergie will have to work on that |

I agree with most people that Terry and especially Lampard have passed their prime. Unfortunately, since both players are part of the back bone of the English national team, no Chelsea coach will have the courage to put them on the bench. If you watched today's match, you will notice that Lampard was replaced at half time, in the dressing room. So nobody saw it happen. May be the coach wanted to save him the embarrassment of being substituted in front of the UK crowd. This season, Chelsea can be excused if they lose to Man U, Man City and may be Tottenham. They should not lose to anybody else including Arsenal if they hope to mount a strong challenge for the title. With the present crop of players, I think that is possible. |

The coach and staffs of Kano Pillars were busy celebrating 5minutes into their game when their own team hasn't even scored yet. Even some of the players were suprised. They were rejoicing with Manchester United. |

The game exposed our defensive frailities & probably theirs too, hardly any cover for the centrebacks from the midfield, between Ando & Fletch it wasn't clear who was 'sitting' - Carrick actually did better defensively when he came on. Offside trap was absolute shyte; Evans spent too much time gawping instead of tracking runners, Evra yet again too far infield leaving a gaping gulf of space on that LHS *smh* Thought Baba should have taken off Evans instead of Smalling & pushed him to CB with Jones, woulda steadied that defence much. There was just no leadership, enforcer or organizer back there! Happy we won - but far from happy about the defending. However, I am not gonna say we we're lucky or Chelsea were unlucky because, at the end of the day, we had almost the same number of missed opportunities that could have been goals. It was too open a game! |
