Realists:

The Truth is always bitter, GEJ is advising "Him Tu Lie & Atikulooter" not to waste our common resources, by heating up the polity for they has lost the election by not uniting to defeat APC but they choose pride & greed, it's a fact that lost it.
It is clear Asiwaju rigged the election. So we should just move on? There is no difference between election riggers and common criminals. Let's call a spade a spade. It should not be because he is your tribesman, you support him. Remember, what goes around turns around. Don't forget tomorrow

Honestly, Nigeria as a country, was not ripe enough for Democratic rule, but since it has already embarked on the journey, then eventually, we will get there.
Firstly we have to revisit the constitution, review and make possible amendments. While doing so we should be patient with the process of our Democratic growth.
Otherwise, a Military dictatiorship will still be better off, thats if we fail to manage the growing process.
Note* NO CHILD JUST STARTS WALKING FROM BIRTH, WITHOUT SITTING, CRAWLING THEN STANDING WHILE HOLDING UNTO SOMETHING, BEFORE STANDING INDEPENDENTLY, BEFORE THEN WALKING.
Winners should learn to pacify losser's and looser's must learn to accept the agony of defeat, then go in to restrategise. Especially in a judicial system like Nigerias'.
How ever, since elections can never be hundred % free and fair, lets be patient and tolerant.

For the sake of those who cannot reason and do not understand, what Jonathan is trying to say is that Nigeria's election should be free, fair, devoid of rigging and manipulation so that who ever wins is a true reflection of the will of the majority. If this is done, no one will see any need to go to court to reclaim a stolen mandate unless the person wants to waste his time and money.

As long as Nigeria's election is not well organised and the 'winner' emerge through massive fraud, rigging and manipulation of election results, the aggrieved candidates or parties have every right to approach the court of law to seek justice.

"Any country that the ballot papers cannot select its leaders, that country is doomed." ----- Goodluck Jonathan.
Lust for control of the proceeds from crude oil and gas deposits in the Niger Delta is behing the ugly scramble by the ethnic groups for apex political leadership of Nigeria.
One Nigeria is already doomed but the political class hustle for proceeds from crude oil, instead of telling themselves the truth that dysfunctional Nigeria is no longer practicable.

The true werey is Bola Tinubu. Why would Tinubu come out to say it's his turn to become president of Nigeria, knowing full well that if it's turn by turn, it's not the turn of the SW region?

So you would have labelled him a tyrant and also asked for his head back then.
Then later proclaim that bubu was supposed to be the best thing after sliced bread if jona had handed power over to him.
I love what he did but Nigerians love their oppressors and chains.

Jonathan knew he hadn't done enough as president... He knew he had lost the support of majority of the nation even before the elections.

He had a golden opportunity after Yar'adua died to push the nation into the light, but chose to allow evil people take over his administration.

Still, it took courage to accept his loss (yes, he lost that election fair and square)!

you people are mumu and not even getting his point. If an election or the process is free, fair and transparent, nobody would ever have the need to go to any court, but as you are in nigeria and nothing is done right, the courts have to step in and analyze the issue from a neutral and constitutional POV
