APC Strongman, Rotimi Amaechi, on Saturday, decried voter apathy in the governorship and state assembly elections in Rivers State. The former Minister of Transportation also slammed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) over the poor conduct of the presidential election, and accused them of MASSIVE FRAUD. “That was how we praised INEC at the beginning of the election on February 25 and it turned out to be one of the worst elections in the history of Nigeria,” Amaechi said. “Now again look at what is going on, total failure of governance in the country. Complete failure”, he added. “Many of us opposed the reappointment of Mahmood Yakubu. The person who nominated him is a member of Tinubu’s camp. Nigerians are just so greedy and without integrity that's why almost everyone can be bribed and compromised their office for wrong service to the people.. Until we do away with this mentality and be contented with what we have no matter how little it is, this country's yesterday will always be better than today. It's going to be getting worse. |
