SEYI MAKINDE WIN OYO GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION FOR THE SECOND TIME-INEC

The incumbent governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, has been declared winner of the governorship election in the state.

The results from the 33 local governments in the state has been formally announced by the electoral commission, INEC, at the collation centre in Ibadan, the state capital where Engr Seyi Makinde of PDP polled a total vote of 563,756 votes against Mr Folarin of APC who has 256,685 votes.

Mr Makinde of PDP won in 31 local governments while APC only won 2 local government.

Congratulation to the people's Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde.

The people of Oyo state have reelected him, Teslim Folarin is a good fighter but he's not widely loved in Oyo state.

Mr Makinde of PDP won in 32 local governments while APC only won one local government.

The peoples Governor. Omititun2.0 he should work on making Oyo clean, and make LGAs to work on inner roads.

Congratulations to him. He stood firmly behind Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on 25th February and Oyo state people rewarded him for putting equity first before party. Between him and Folarin, he’s a better choice.

Which APC? You dey ment? APC supported Makinde because apart from some of his works, he didn't work against APC at the federal level. Now he needs to decamp to APC. PDP is no good for him.
