ScamHunter:First of all, you can't subpoena an American security agency in Nigeria. Secondly, the said crime, even if it was true, it's been more than 20 years. In Nigeria, an indicted or convicted person can run for office after a period of 10 years outside of his serving term. Tinubu was never convicted nor indicted. Obi is wasting his time and resources 1 Like |

Teddy0147:Everything you are seeing is the consequence of thorough legal evaluation... If you are dealing with Supreme Court in Nigeria you have to be sure that you cover every loophole or else they will manufacture a technicality to rubbish your case. The prayer for the cancellation of the exercise is not a frivolous fantasy...there is a reason for that... |

Let's leave it for the courts to decide right? Obi case has 5 prayers, Atiku's petition also had the $460k forfiteture If your defense is 10years has past already then let the court make the pronounment. And you all need not worry for tinubu You said he should go to court he is in court When I made the 50years comment, I meant, you can trial a case even if it's been 50 years after except if there's is a statue of limitation preventing you from taking a case to court after a certain period I will be following the procedings when them start quote author=Bundaweber post=121975854] Shows that you lot work on emotions and not knowledge. There is a thing called statue Barr or statue of limitation. Anyway our laws are clear on someone who has has been found guilty on offences right to contest. Again I can't stress this enough. Obi case in the tribunal is not solid and before you start about appeal or supreme court know that if carries the matter up to supreme court, judgement would be based on what he present at the tribunal. That's why it's hard to overturn elections. YOU GUYS ALSO NEED TO KNOW THAT TINUBU WAS NEVER CONVICTWD BUT INDICTED. FOR THOSE THAT ARE EDUCATED ILLITRATES, IT SIMPLY MEANS HE WAS TAKEN TO COURT AND WAS NEVER FOUND GUILTY OR INNOCENT. ALSO FORFEITURE IS NOT A FINE. IT IS NOT A CERTAINTY OF GUILT. I BELIEVE TINUBU OWN FORFEITURE WAS NEVER A CRIMINAL FORFEITURE. JUST TRY AND EDUCATE YOURSELVES BY READING UP ON THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF FORFEITURES IN THE USA JUSTICE SYSTEM. PLEASE READ WITH AN OPEN MIND AND STOP POLLUTING THE CYBERSPACE WITH IGNORANCE AND THEREBY FUELING BAD PERCEPTIONS ABOUT NIGERIA ABROAD [/quote] |

How can you ask the Court to declare you the winner and also ask the Court to cancel the same election in which you want to be declared as the winner? |

Bundaweber: Even without a subpoena, the CTC of the charges against Tinubu is admissible is admissible in a Nigerian court if any LP membet obtains it as a concerned party from the originating court. The agent in question can also be issued a friendly supboena and paid to tender it in court for effect |

dustmalik: My friend, if you're a felon, you're a felon for life. Even after serving time in prison or even paroled, you're still a felon. It's only in a lawless country like Nigeria that a convicted felon like Orji Uzor Kalu would be dragging senate presidency or Tinubu dragging presidency. For instance, if you're a rapist and your name enters the sexual offenders list, no jupiter will remove your name from it until you die. You garrit now? 2 Likes 1 Share |
