. Again can somebody tell me the strength of this case? They did not indicate there that they won the election in the petition and they would show how they won it. They did not even indicate that they would call witnesses across Nigeria(very impossible) All I see here are issues that are similar to pre election cases. The question is how did all the issues contained on this petition affect the results of the election? This case like that of LP is an academic excercise In futility whose aim is just to put it on record that the losers of the election challenge that resukts.

The drug fund forfeiture issue is of great interest to Nigerians
It is a preelection matter and nothing to do with the conduct of elections on February 25
By law they were supposed to raise it 180 days before the election .
It is not as if they just found out.
It would be bad if the Tribunal no not entertain it on the technical grounds of 180 days

180 days before elections? 180 days is 6 months, I doubt if INEC had announced the date of elections 6 months ago

U don't know much about the case then.

Amaechi and Omehia were all in PDP. The case was PDP vs PDP not from another party. According to the case,Amaechi ran for the primaries of the election and secured the highest number of votes I think then about 6000 plus out of about 6,300 or so.

The winner being Amaechi later was substituted and Omehia enlisted as the bona-fide candidate which led Amaechi to proceed to court where he sued INEC and Omehia and after about 5months,the court ruled in Amaechi's favour.
