I would have really loved this man Umahi to become the Senate president but it seems they don't allow first time senators to do that - not really sure it's a standing rule or just a convention. Apart from the fact that he is a proven performer, he also worked diligently for the party as seen by the votes for APC in the Presidential, national assembly and gubernatorial elections in Ebonyi state. He even made sure he is succeeded by someone in his party, APC unlike the idiot, Uzor Kalu saying it's his turn to be Senate president. This is someone openly scheming against Tinubu for Lawan and did not work for Tinubu but himself only as reflected by Abia's APC votes on all front but coming forward to ask for Senate President. How can 2 elections be conducted same time and people of your senatorial district voted massively for you but not your Presidential candidate at all. It's obvious he didn't t tell his supporters to vote for Tinubu.
