There is a saying that "cleaniness is next to godliness!"

In line with the Mantra of Prof Chukwuma Soludo administration on building a peaceful, livable and prosperous homeland, the state government have embarked on operation clean, green and healthy environment through the office of the Awka Capital Territory Development Authority by cleaning the drainage system in the state capital.

The exercise which was flagged off by the deputy governor of the State, Dr. Onyeka Ibezim at the Eke-Awka axis in Awka attracted hundreds of well meaning Ndi Anambra who came out em masses to welcome him.

Performing the grand opening, Dr. Onyekachi Ibezim excavated some refuse obstructing the easy flow of water ways in the drainage system to form the highlight of the day.

This is done to avoid flooding that may cause damages to the roads during the rainy season.

Traders and residents were also cautioned to desist from incessant dumping of refuse in the drainages to reduce the impact that comes with the challenge.

The managing director of the Awka Capital Territory Development Agency, Mr. Ossy Onuko and other top State government officials were also present at the event.

Soludo making a visible change in Anambra and not some audio and overnight messiah whose tenure was filled with strike (doctors for 13months) and looted the state to build expensive malls in Abuja and other shits he did abroad with the state fund, asked Obiano to be paying him billions as his successor. We can joke in this country sha(messiah indeed). ManlikeSoludo
