Census was due in 2016 when the Igbo NPC boss was there. Buhari had to wait till the term of the Igbo man expired three years later and Buhari appointed another far north boss for NPC to now conduct a hurried Census after a most disputed general election - all for Buhari to supervise before he bows out. Is Buhari the only man who knows how to use political power for the interest of only his ethno-religious group?

Wish some Nigerian groups announce boycott of the Census. Let them count their cows.

Election, Election courts, census and end of the Buhari tenure preparations all at the same time. That leaves the Census as an ill-conceived thing. Why can't the census wait for after May 29th, 2023, as it has been waiting since 2016?
