A Catholic priest stayed in the seminary for 17 years studying and being prepared spiritually, academically, socially, psychologically etc. He prayed with other seminarians 4 times every day for those 17 years, excluding his private prayers.

He heard and read the word of God everyday, for 17 years. He studied the Bible in the original languages in which it was written, Hebrew and Greek. He also studied it in the first language in which it was translated, Latin. He also meditated on it in English and other recent languages in which it was translated.

When he became a priest by the ordination of the Holy Spirit, he continued reading and teaching God’s children everyday at morning Masses with this Word. If he has been a priest for let’s say 13 years as I’ve been, it means that for 30 years of his life (17 + 13) he has been studying and praying with the Bible and working in God’s sanctuary, among other things.

He is not searching for clients or church members. He is not searching for tithes; his daily care is assured by the Church. He is only there to do God’s work and teach with humility and simplicity all he had spent his life doing in God’s sanctuary.

Then, sometimes when he teaches the truths being revealed by the Holy Spirit to His Church since 2 thousand years, some who started carrying the Bible in English translation let’s say 10 years ago, shout at him that he doesn’t know the Bible. He tries further in humility to explain to you, you in.sult him because you believe that you or your pastor who did theology 3 years and opened a church knows better than the priest.

I respect pastors who know the truth for instance about the Virgin Mary and the Body and Blood of Christ. In their humility the Holy Spirit taught them same truth and will teach them more. Humility is the mouth with which the infant-faithful suckles milk from the breasts of her mother.

By thy fruits are thou known, and not by thy years of study.

Consider Paul, a baby in Christ, and yet almost it's cornerstone.

Please add that —Fr. Gabriel did not write this, because if he did he learnt nothing.

Teachings taught and practiced by early christians like St Peter, St Paul, St John, St Mary the Mother of Jesus(God) etc and passed down to the next Pope St Linus by St Peter the first Pope(Bishop of Rome), Still being taught and practiced till date. Go and think about it.

By their fruits, you shall know them.
