I'm sure this figure is exaggerated...why would you ask commercial bus drivers to pay a daily charge of 13K?

How much do they even make in a day?

Is this how Tinubu is going to rule people that are not from his tribe?

It's too early to tell but the present antics of these Agberos may reflect a shadow of what is to come.

What can we expect at the presidency using Lagos as a case study? Godfatherism with contracts going to his supporters and underlings. Will nepotism crawl in?

These are still early days. If there are excesses, can they be checked by the senate? Will he have the senate in his hands?

There are protests currently ongoing around Abule-egba and alakuko axis of Lagos as commercial bus drivers are protesting the increase in daily fees being collected by Agberos to 13,000 naira. the bus drivers who blocked traffic on the Lagos - abeokuta this morning claimed that the government of babjide sanwolu should come to their aid as most of them are being attacked and beaten by the agbero touts for being unable to pay the daily levy of 13k, but few minutes ago the police came in to disperse the protesters by firing teargas and shooting,

Agberotocracy at work .
Some of these protesters were amongst those who threatened Igbo and other tribes from voting in Lagos.
Tinubu has not been sworn in yet?
I was looking for something like this. Those conductors and drivers were among the people who perpetrated evil on the election day. I almost got beaten by one of them at my PU, despite the fact that I speak Yoruba like them, and I am one.

Why are they protesting now? What were they thinking when they wrong-headedly insisted on voting for APC. I thought they said they are the owners of Lagos!

What a society we will be living in when their godfather finally takes over. These touts will run riot around the entire federation. How can a responsible government have touts as tax collectors? People are really mad in this country.
