Atiku won in twelve states while Obi won in 11 states.

Obi wọn in Lagos, Sokoto, Katsina, Kano, Kaduna, Abuja and other states while Atiku took 12 states. Yet Emile O'Corn managed to emerge winner. Senate and House of Rep election were transmitted electronically but somehow, the presidential one could not make it. All votes cast same day same time. Even a foetus know that there is something wrong. Kadoso Mutairu!

The good news for Obi and his supporters on this matter is that, APC and INEC did not add it to their petition before the window for petitions on elections was closed, what it means is that every petition that was not filed before the close of the window can not be entertained.

Now you see part of the reasons why Obi waited till the last day of the petition window to file his own, since APC did not know the content of his petition till the final day they did not know what to attack Obi with in their own petition.

So APC as it stands is mainly on defence, there is a time frame for election tribunal, so there must be time lines for proceedings, if not there might be endless petitions that will keep the tribunal on an endless cycle, you see why they had to make the petition have a window timeline.

So for now APC cannot file it again, the tribunal will not entertain it....
okay thanks for the insight.

Even if a second ballot is ordered, it will still be between Tinubu and Atiku. Peter Obi has no case and will never be president of Nigeria.

Peter political career is gone. If another election is even declared, obi will only manage one or two states in the SE. He made a blunder of himself. He should have accepted the result and strategize a better way of coming back stronger. The bitterness in him exposed him. Politically, he is a nobody. Just only relevant to the online miscreants. The governorship election murdered him completely.

Has it been he had accepted result, he would have still been fooling some people. I am telling you more than 85% that voted for that kediri(obi) are regretting it now.
Re: Abuja 25% Requirement by plaindealer: 6:22pm On Mar 29, 2023
My advice, spend your worthless time dealing with your loss, failure and gross disappointment after losing the election to get over your pain and self-imposed depression instead of postponing it while hoping for dubious and imaginary miracles.

You are only extending and multiplying your pain and sorrow, but of course, you people are hard learners and self-destructive, so go ahead, I need the comedy, laughs and entertainment..

For Tinubu to escape the 25% FCT albatross, he will have to prove to the courts that our constitution is not written in clear English but in Yoruba or Portuguese. grin

The 25% FCT clause is very clear and unambiguous in its constitutional lexicon. However his lawyers decide to twist it, the truth will remain standing erect like the penis of Priapus the Greek god. grin

They never envisaged that APC will score below 25% in Abuja, so they did not prepare their rigging arsenal to conjure results as they did in other states. Now they are hooked and trying to stand simple logic and grammar in its head. We await the response of their "structure" in the judiciary and see how they spin it. grin grin

Where did you get the nonsense in bold from? The kind of ignorance you guys display is so shocking. Let’s even assume you don’t understand how legal proceedings work, at least, common sense should tell you that once a petition or filed against someone, the person will be given time to respond to the petition.

The sore losers were given 21 days to file their petition. Once the respondents are served, they also have about 21 days to file their response. Their response will contain a cross petition if they so want. And yes, APC will file a cross petition to challenge Peter Obi’s qualification and to take away votes fraudulently obtained from the South east.

So, sit down and watch as things unfold. All the respondents will file their response and cross petition within the next 2 to 3 weeks.

APC cannot file a fresh petition against Peter Obi, they can only file a response to Peter Obi's petition now, the time for filing petitions against any presidential candidate has been closed....

According to the electoral act of 2022, the respondent is entitled to 21 days to respond after being served by the petitioner.

There's a legal reason why the APC delayed getting served, they are running the clock against Obi, and they are using legal tools and maneuvering to their advantage.

Yes, you are wrong, Obi delaying his petition till the end of the required time to file the petition has nothing to do with the respondent's timetable to respond, the respondent's time to respond starts on the day he or she was served.

Read the electoral act before your next post to avoid embarrassment.

Lol. They understand. They are indirectly saying they'll file it all the same to waste time. They have 💯 confidence in their court structures to handle the case for them.

What you just shared said the respondent will reply Obi petition and not institute a fresh petition against Obi. That's the exact same thing the OP is saying.

Again, they don't need a new petition to deal with Obi's petition, their 21 days deadline is enough.
