there was a similar case at kano state. Ibrahim Shekarau a member of PDP was declared winner of Senatorial election under NNPP, though he withrew from the race. INEC said they can make changes again so, Shekarau's name was still on INEC book as NNPP candidate though he has resigned his membership of the party.
