I really thank God for your life. I even like you as you're appreciating God for sparing your life.
If it were to be someone else, he may be boasting that he made it out because he is strong forgetting that God is the decision maker.
Congratulations for surviving Prostate Enlargement operation.

This video just brought back memories to me. I lost my father early November last year after a prostrate enlargement operation. After paying 800k the man still died. I wonder how many doctors can really successfully carry out this operation in Nigeria. My uncle that survived it did his at India.

A simple word of advice for anybody trying to surgically remove an enlarged prostate. Please run away from Nigerian doctors, most of them will claim to have done it successfully just to carry your money. Go to abroad for a higher chance to survive the surgery. My father was warned that only few doctors could really do this in Nigeria.

That organ called prostate in men is best described as a bittersweet organ.

Enmeshed in a lot of muscles and nerves down there, it helps provide the heavenly feeling called orgasm in men as well as produce majority of the fluid in men's ejaculate.

All this feels good from adolescent through middle age and just about 50 years for many men.

After this period, the prostrate becomes a monster and an enemy within. If its not enlarging and causing urinary issues for many men, its already having some sort of malignant cells which if not diagnosed and treated early, could metastasize (cancer spread) and would eventually kill the man.

My dad did it in Port Harcourt in 2011 by the grace of God this is 12 years after and still counting.
The hospital he did it called in a Nigerian specialist. I think the surgeon name is Dr. Hart.

I guess your dad was just Lucky, mine wasn't. The doctor was actually a urology specialist from federal medical center umuahia who opened his own hospital. Just less than 6months before the death of my father, his half brother died from same surgery in Lagos.

My father's direct older brother also survived it. He did his when he was still a senior engineer of the defunct nitel in Lagos. He had access to the best hospital in Nigeria then as a result of his health insurance from nitel.

If you don't have access to the best hospitals or do it abroad the chances here is just 50/50.

From what I noticed, removing the prostrate is not even the problem but the aftermath. The surgery will be successful but the pains will kill the patient later.
