Re: How We Built The Block Of Lock-up Shops In Enugu by spyder880(m): 9:20am On Apr 03, 2023
This land has a private forest reserve as the boundary plot, with a lot of overgrown trees and palms, our first work will be to cut down about 20 trees before we can secure the boundaries of this land...............

Re: How We Built The Block Of Lock-up Shops In Enugu by spyder880(m): 9:23am On Apr 03, 2023
So we started to cut down a lot of trees, starting from the biggest ones...........

Re: How We Built The Block Of Lock-up Shops In Enugu by spyder880(m): 9:52am On Apr 03, 2023
Sad that we will lose all those shed provided by the big trees, but it's to make way for the fence of this land........

We also have a standing structure which was in this land, the house will not be demolished for now, instead we will use it as a cement store and a worker's quarters for now.

Yes it's a remote area, but very accessible. This location is just 10 minutes off the Enugu airports, and there is a need for storage facilities here in the form of shops for those who wants to stock materials. This location is also ideal to store foodstuffs, bags of rice, some dried and processed food, garri and palm oil are cheaper and available locally here. People will need a storage point to gather these locally produced items before moving them to the cities.

Another reason is that we are taking positions for future developments. This location falls within where the new incoming governor has as his home base, this major road in the front of this land is tarred, and we expect it to be done again in this dispensation since it leads to the house of another big wig in Enugu politics. The whole area is opening up and people from inside Enugu town are slowly relocating to this area for lower rents.

100 x 100 land. Although what we have is a 60 x 200 land, we will fit the shops in a different arrangement.

Welcome.
