In 2015
There was a pure perjury case against Gen Buhari,
Before 2011..a contestant only needs to swear affidavit declaring his results to contest

But after 2011, the electoral act 2011 demands that Contestants attach CTC or photocopies of their results to their affidavit to authenticate their claims....
General Buhari sworn in his affidavit that his results were with the army
The Nigerian Army gave a press conference and state categorically that they are Not with the result of Gen Buhari
On this ground Gen Buhari was sued for perjury because according to the 2011 act his failure to provide copies of his results as claimed has disqualified him Not because he is not qualified but that he perjured... His claims and could not prove his academic grades as stated in his affidavit s

Buhari hired wole olanipekun SAN as lead counsel
While Mike Ozhekome appeared for the plaintiff

The case was straight forward but the judge led by Adeniyi Ademola allowed several delay tactics from wole olanipekun...It is very obvious that wole olanipekun was trying to delay the merits of the case till after Buhari was sworn in....
It is on record that the Merits of the case was never attended to
Wole Olanipekun keep bringing applications to cause technical delay
One of the application was that when they refused to be served, the court granted an alternative service Wole olanipekun ask the judge to rule that they were not served, the judge refused and he went on to appeal the decision

After the swearing in, what follows up was just a dead rubber

Our Judiciary should know that they are the last hope for the poor masses

Judiciary should brace up to not giving room for technical delay from wole olanipekun and his team because they have used that in 2015 and justice was denied

You guys are pathetic. Tinubu has time limit. Please, allow him to use his time. If after the time, he fails to respond you can now talk. This whole matter has a total of 6 months to run according to the electoral act. Even if Tinubu responds now, it will not change any thing. If you hoping to have the case disposed off, forget it. It will run for 6 months from the time the petitioners lodged their complains.

PDP was a useless party with quack lawyers making money out of their incoherence

But Labour party has make sure that Tinubu and his team received the Writ of summons and acknowledge them...so
No room for what they did to PDP
LP is tight and organized

: APC agents 172,000±
While LP agents just 41,000±
But then in presidential Election
APC won 12 States
PDP won 12states
LP won 12 states including the two Big. Capitals lagos and Abuja.with the least Agents....
Its shows superior strength in Organization...

you will sweat when huge evidence will be coming out and eventually Overturned the election at tribunal.....as you can see...APC is panicking.... Because the amount of evidence gathered by not using Bvas on real time as contained in the electoral act has made Laid Mohammed to start panicking that Inec deliberately withheld results...

Superior strength in organization should have told u that winning the two big capitals don't equate to winning elections, u know very well these capitals have agents on ground all round, organized and tight party can't win at least two governorship seats, neither could u at least become the minority with d highest number in national assembly.

that is where the problem is. In Kenya supreme court judgement was passed within 2 weeks and it was done before the new government took over but in Nigeria the case will be allowed to run for 3 to 4 years. How will that give us justice. " Justice delayed justice denied"

The law says the case at the tribunal cannot exceed 6 months. It's the Appeal and Supreme Courts that seem not to have time limit.

what I know is that if any judge fails to do what is right, he will not have the chance to correct himself again... Ask justice Ademola Adeniyi.....who had all the freedom in 2015 eligibility suit of buhari but gave into fears...after election he was taught a lesson and disgracefully forced to retire....same with CJN Onnoghen

Question I would like to ask is that, what qualifications did Buhari used to enter the Nigerian Army? Remember even if you have f9 through out in your final year in secondary school you have passed out and there is nothing like repeating.. Are we saying Buhari did not present any school leaving certification before entering the Nigerian Army as a cadet?
Re: Judiciary Must Not Allow Technical Delay Tactics Of Wole Olanipekun Like 2015 by Praxis758: 3:52am On Apr 07, 2023
Such delay tactics and elongation of hearing will not work this time because the 2022 electoral act sets a 180 days deadline for all cases right from tribunal to final appeal in Supreme Court.
