The Ughelli Main Market has been closed by youths from Iwhreko, Ughelli North Local Government Area, Delta State.

The closing down is a protest against the police detention of the community’s president general, Mr David Omotor.

Although the details of the arrest were unclear as of when this report was sent in, sources claimed that the youths who barricaded some main roads in the city on Friday were upset with how the arrest was handled.

However, Politainment.Net discovered that the community leader was arrested while dropping his wife off at her store at the Isodje junction in the Oteri-Ughelli neighbourhood of the Ughelli metropolis.
