The writer of this comment is mischievous. Why did he intentionally waved the part of forfeiture of the proceed of the crime. He was indicted but his lawyer went on bargain and he forfeited a whooping sum to USA account.
Now, what is the meaning of forfeiture?
"Forfeit or forfeiture means losing a right, privilege, or property without compensation as a consequence of violating the law, breaching a legal obligation, failing to perform a contractual obligation or condition, or neglecting a legal duty. Under federal law, there are civil, criminal, and administrative forfeitures".
The question now, was the forfeiture due to criminal or civil or administrative issue. It's now left for a discerning mind to know where it falls.
If in a saner clime, Tinubu is not fit to contest for the highest post of the land because it depicts the symbol of the nation.
