Those who blame Emefiele and calling for his prosecution but ignore Buhari who is the minister of petroleum have sold their brains to buy roasted corn. All public refineries dead for 8 years. Buhari's dream was only to be a civilian president. He never planned to make Nigeria better. Same way some clowns voted for him to spite others is the same way they voted Tinubu, screaming the opposition will cry. Do you get a discount when buying petrol because you support APC? 90 Likes 5 Shares |

Subsidy is the biggest scam in the history of this country, second only to the operations of the NNPC. No one has accurate data of the volume of petrol Nigeria uses. We pay subsidy claims using arbitrary data - the height of leadership ineptitude. Rather than take up the responsibility to conduct proper forensic audit and obtain credible data, thereby curbing the inflated figures, the FG wants to bring the entire country to pay for their irresponsibility by ending subsidy entirely. Subsidy was removed for DPK and AGO, and till date no one can point out how the nation has profited from that action. Concerns that proceeds from the removal of subsidy may go the way of its predecessors are genuine, and in fact true. Subsidy must stay by all means. If government judiciously utilizes the available funds in their keeps we would have adequate funds to do a lot of we want to. Buhari bailed out states, paid subsidy claims, paid retired/forgotten FG workers, and initiated projects when oil was trading at $25/barrel and exchange rate hovering around $1=N400. What justification do we have to stop subsidy now that oil trades for $85/barrel? Subsidy is perhaps the only thing Nigerians benefit from their country at the expense of government and must be protected. When will this country be serious? 30 Likes 1 Share |

Those people that protested during Goodluck regime that fuel was increased to #195, those people have gone mute now because of their tribal affiliation with Tinubu/APC, Or they have been bought over. Where is Wole Soyinka, Tunde Bakare, Femi and Seun Kuti, etc.. una don go deef and dumb.. na all of us go enjoy this change. Why cant our refineries be fixed? NB; One thing is certain, Tinubu and his fellow looters can afford to buy fuel at #5000 per litre.. what about you his e-rats? 6 Likes |
