Mr. Man, Wike lost the battle even before the war. If you think APC will trust him, you're deceiving yourself. No party will ever trust Wike. He has been a backstabber for long. He backstabbed Amaechi. Backstabbed his own party and you think anyone will trust him politically. Tomorrow what he did to some people, he will still do that to others.
If he need to be minister under APC, it means he has to resign from PDP. You know what that means? He's no more in control of PDP in River state. You may say, the governor may defect with him. The question is, would the legislators defect with him too? If they do, they would lose their seats. Wike is in-between the red and blue sea. For now is a local champion. He can either remain a local champion or lose all.
Wike doesn't know what he want. He is too bitter and not a trusted ally. You don't destroy the house that built you because you wish to get something from the house and you didn't get it. If Tinubu had destroyed APC when he was sidelined after 2015, he would have been a local champion today.
Even the blind knows that Wike just rigged Rivers state for APC. Tinubu of APC won in Rivers state but no single legislator from APC won. APC itself know that it was just a fluke win for them in Rivers state.

Both APC and PDP Southern Governors met first in Delta, then Akwa-Ibom and finally in Ogun or Lagos (not too sure this last state).

After the primaries, the party should not be destroyed, give the South chairmanship, so that we all can work together.
