APC may end up of not having Gubernatorial Candidate in Kogi State.

Barrister Realwan Okpanachi and Yahaya Seidu who are Card Carrying Members of APC in Kogi State have gone to Court to seek the disqualification of all the 6 Gubernatorial Aspirants of APC in today’s Direct Gubernatorial Primaries of APC in Kogi State on account of failure of the Aspirants to resign their appointments as Civil Servants/Public Servants before the Gubernatorial Primaries Election as stipulated by Section 84 of the Electoral Act.

It would be recalled that Barrister Realwan Okpanachi was the plaintiff in the yesterday's Judgement of Federal High Court where the court nullified the Congress that produced Delegates that the APC had already lined up to determine the Gubernatorial Candidate (through indirect mode) of the party in Kogi State before the party swiftly adopted direct mode of the primary.

There’s much fire on the mountain in the house of APC in Kogi State. An adage says A house divided against itself shall not stand.

On 6th of April Yahaya Bello changed the mode of his own party primary from indirect to direct .
Enejo Victor Alfa what is the different between today judgement and this. APC is deeply confused .

OP, a court has already nullified the delegates congress Kogi APC did in February. That's why they have chosen to do direct primary, which would not involve delegates. So, your news is now stale and irrelevant.
Haba, did you read what the OP wrote. Read again and check yourself again

APC already shot itself on the foot. The idiotic outgoing Bello who is an ebira man picked another ebira man as his successor even though knowing fully well that the igalas were the majority tribes in Kogi state. An igala man will rather support Dino melaye to be governor than to allow this sh!t from the APC

1. Who is Realwan Okapanachi, an aspirant in the Primary of the APC or just a member of the APC?

2. The Court has no jurisdiction because the event happened in Kogi State and should have been filed at the High Court of Kogi State or the Federal High Court. The High Court of the FCT is a State High Court and can only see to the political activities in the FCT. Moreover, the new Electoral Act is clear that cases of this nature should be at the Federal High Court.

3. On the merits of it, In the alternative that Okpanachi is an aspirant in the APC Primary, the event has not held yet, so it can not fall under pre-election. Until the Primary holds, he is not an aspirant in the Primary yet and should not have filed.

Infact, if he is an Aspirant, the Party will decide to lock him outside, hence his inability to stand on a foundational pedestal to sue.

In Summary, the Court lacks jurisdiction, case dismissed.

How is it that anyone supporting APC has an empty brain?
The case here is about contestants not resigning from there present positions before contesting the governorship elections as stipulated by law. Please learn to read and read to learn before you disgrace yourself in the public.
