After the death of Italian-Nigerian volleyball player Julia Ituma, CCTV video showing her last moments before she fell from a sixth-floor hotel window in Turkey has been made public.

The terrible event occurred just a few hours after her club, Igor Gorgonzola Novara, was knocked out of the Champions League semi-finals in Turkey.

The hotel's surveillance video shows Ituna going slowly down the corridor while constantly checking her phone. Authorities said that before she committed herself, she waited outside her bedroom door for about an hour in a "pensive and thoughtful" way.
