If God is just or merciful, Why did God not simply pardon Satan after defeat as men often do to a captured nation after they defeat it? Mankind would seem in victory to be more merciful than God; for they do not treat the vanquished to such terrible torments for even a lifetime, let alone for all eternity. Why did God not show the qualities that you described as his justice, mercy, compassion, and forgiveness to Satan?

because satan took the nature of sin, and God cannot accommodate sin no matter what so that is why satan was banish from heaven before he corrupted heaven with his sin nature

God is Merciful because normally satan due to his new sinful nature he should be wiped out of existence since God hate sin but instead our Merciful Saviour preferd to send him to hell so that he satan could rule over hell

But due to the sinful and greedy nature of satan, satan came to earth to take over the earth with his sin which will derail the divine process God has laid for man from the beginning

That is why when Jesus Christ died on the cross, He went to hell to take over the authority of hell from satan because of what satan did to man in the garden of eden

Now satan has no more power, except lies and tricks because even the authority over hell has been taken from him.

Now see it this way,
God has shown mercy to the devil twice

First was when lucifer rebel against God
Then second was when satan deceived Adam

Yet When Lord Jesus Christ went to Hell, He didn't Kill satan rather Lord Jesus took the authority of earth and hell and came back after 3 days to earth to show that he has taken back that authority of earth and hell from satan, and yet Lord Jesus didn't kill him when he had the chance to, is that not a Merciful God?


How many people can forgive satan for all his atrocities right from the day he rebel against God uptill now,

Yet when Lord Jesus had the opportunity to kill him in hell, He only took the authority from satan and went back to earth

even tho satan keep sinning and destroying God good earth with his sin yet Lord Jesus is so Merciful because He even gave satan some more time to enjoy his existence before he will be sent to the lake of fire for final destruction is that not Merciful enough

Sin means disobedience to yahweh, so what you mean yahweh cannot accommodate sin?
The only reason satan sin was because he lost the fight, if he had won, yahweh would have been the one that sinned.

How is yahweh sending satan to hell a merciful thing?

If he had wiped down satan in the first place would jesus have come down to earth to the extent of yahweh sacrificing his child, are you sure yahweh is omniscience?

How is yahweh merciful by giving someone time before sending someone to lake of fire after they fought in a duel, why can’t he forgive and pardon his defeated opponent?
