ISA Brown Chicken Vs Noiler Chicken: Which One Lays More Eggs? by kobobay(m): 10:54am On Apr 21, 2023 |
ISA BROWN CHICKEN VS NOILER CHICKEN ISA Brown chickens are known for their high egg-laying capabilities, with each hen laying up to 300-320 brown eggs per year. They are a hybrid breed developed by the French company, Institut de Sélection Animale (ISA), by crossing Rhode Island Red and Rhode Island White chickens. ISA Browns are popular among commercial egg producers due to their egg-laying abilities, docile temperament, and low feed requirements. Noiler chickens, on the other hand, are crossbred chickens developed in Nigeria by mixing the genes of broiler and cockerel breeds. They are bred for their meat and can reach maturity within 14-16 weeks. Noiler chickens are known for their resistance to diseases, adaptability to harsh environments, and high feed conversion rate. In summary, ISA Brown chickens are primarily bred for their egg-laying abilities, while Noiler chickens are bred for their meat. The choice between the two depends on the purpose of the farming operation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0srk2ToBD0k #isabrown #noilerchicken #poultryfarming #backyardfarming |
