Igbo is one language I will never attempt to learn. In fact I don't know how you guys got to speaks it because it's the most difficult language around the globe. Hardly could you see someone that's not Igbo race, speaks it compare to Yoruba where the whole world speaks fluently.

Even more of Nigeria don't speak Yoruba, not to talk of fluently but somehow, you think it's worldwide? Weird.

Anyways, here's a Chinaman speaking Igbo.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c8qSu-ZLijg

Learning a second language is a matter of interest. I was born and brought up in Lagos (spent my primary years in Ijora, Badia even) but I do not speak Yoruba. I understand very little of it.

He's just a tribal goat. Don't mind the idiot.......Yoruba is the sweetest tongue/language in Nigeria and that's the main reason every musician from other tribes always want to relate, feature or even learn to speak the language in their songs. Either you love or hate Yorubas, God has made them the leaders in Nigeria and infact a special lovely tribe in the world especially Africa.....Yoruba is Unique and distinct in every areas. Great tribe, great people.....Awon Omo Oduduwa.....

Hahhaha....the lamguage before the beat. You are missing a lot if you do not understand the language but enjoy only the beat .The lyrics of 9ce got him into face same as other legends

We are all entitled to our opinions.

But people like Awilo would not have been big over here and even selling out stadia whenever he came around for shows.

How many people wey dey go him concerts for Naija understand French?

Flavor and Phyno were big everywhere in Nigeria, same with late Dagrin… but how many people dey understand wetin dem dey speak.

Goodlady:

Burna sings in Yoruba too.
You don't understand the logic.
If you wanna control Lagos market, you v to bring in the Yoruba language flow.
Ask Timaya and M.I what they faced around 2010. Moreso, he mixes English language too. All the pop artists use English and their native language.
So what's the fuss about Asake's own?
Name any artiste except Favour and Phyno that doesn't use Yoruba. Name it!
Phyno and Flavour too use Igbo so local dialect can't be erased.

Should I bring out Yoruba words in their music?
All you mentioned are singing in sync with Lagos trend. All use various yoruba words. Maybe you don't know that southwest is in charge of media/entertainment in Nigeria.

Leave that guy ...he is dull he can't understand
