Port Harcourt based Publicist, Dave of Africa, says, Mr Eazi owning Vydia inc may be false.

Few days ago, there was news trending all over Nigeria about Entertainment Entrepreneur, Mr Eazi earning big after a company called Gamma bought one of his company called, Vydia for $1 billion

Port Harcourt based Publicist, Dave of Africa said he did some digging and found out Mr Eazi may just be an early investor of Vydia, not the owner of the company.

He further said, Gamma bought Vydia since December 2022 and released the information on March 2023. That the news was all over American Tech media space but Mr Eazi's name was not mentioned

He also said Nigeria blogs hardly dig deep to get proper info and Mr Eazi never ever mentioned owning Vydia.

"Gamma acquired, Vydia since December 2022 but released the info in march 2023. It was all over American Tech media space in March 2023 and Mr Eazi's name was not mentioned

"Now nigerian media brands are posting it in April and I see Mr Eazi as owner of Vydia.

"Vydia was Co-founded by RoyManna who is the CEO. The other co founder is Mark Allen who is the VP engineering

"Vydia had many investors and the two biggest is, Newmark venture capital that have invested over $4 million, the other is Vocap Investment partners that invested over $2 million

"In total, About 6 companies invested up to $8.9 million

"Mr Eazi's Zagadat Capital may also be an early investor.

"We don't know his share percentage in Vydia and we don't know his cash out from the $1 billion

"The new parent company of Vydia is a company called LJ Music, LLC in California, now called Gamma, owned by Larry Jackson.

"He is a record producer and former global creative director of Apple Music.

"I researched this myself, you can also do yours. This post is not about hating Mr. Eazi, its for educational purpose"
