grin Nzogbu Nzogbu

There used to be fanfare in igboland anytime kanu case was coming

Obi III really shifted Ipob focus, I can understand nnamani when he said obi took ipob 30yrs back

You are contradicting yourself...by all indications Obi is the best thing to have happened to the SE politics in recent times.

and what has he achieved in SE politics in recent time

Apart from been a presidential candidate for 2023 election

Thanks to him the whole world now sees that igbos are completely inconsequential in politics

This was been hidden since under their support for PDP, but two parties without Igbo votes came first and second

The one with Igbo vote almost came last

That is not the point. If you celebrate incarceration without trial, what kind of society are you pushing for? Inspite of our politicking,
we should be pushing for a decent society where rule of law is Supreme
When you Buhari refused to obey rule of law during the naira redesign saga, y'all sang his praise. Now that disobedience of rule of law will not favour you, you are suddenly standing on the upper ground. Rest.

Its funny because I remember many of you were happy when CBN refused to obey the supreme court then, some even said the supreme court can't tell CBN what to do, because your brother is the governor of CBN but you want the supreme court to OBEY THE LAW NOW!

When Mr President disobeyed the court and ordered the use of the naira to be suspended even when there was a stay of execution, you were happy, because it favours your candidant, you call BUHARI THE HERO OF DEMOCRACY, now that he is disobeying the court to release Kanu, you want to preach RULE OF LAW.

As much as I always push for the right thing, releasing KANU is not the best for the country, remember he was released once and immediately after his release on bail, the whole IPOD thing became something with no control, even when he RAN to Uk, he continued with destructive statement, statement that now ring a loud bell in the ear of everyone, and creating a much wider ethnic divide.

You are talking Open consciousness of Nigeria youth, shebi the fraud obi was the one who galvanized the Endsars movement of youths?

Today marks a significant day in the history of Nigeria, as the Supreme Court hears the case of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Kanu is facing charges of treason for allegedly seeking to create a separate state of Biafra. He has been in detention since October 2015, and his case has sparked a wave of protests from his supporters in the south east of Nigeria.

The hearing is likely to be a tense affair, with many expecting a ruling that could have far-reaching implications for the future of Nigeria. Supporters of Kanu have promised to "resist" any ruling that goes against him, while opponents fear that a favorable ruling could lead to further unrest in the region.

Regardless of the outcome, today's hearing will be watched closely by people across the country, as it could shape the future of Nigeria for years to come.

Nothing like justice for a well known terrorist like kanu. Many terrorists like him at the Guantanamo Bay detention camp will never see court not to talk of judgement.

But your Nigeria government have released more than 5000 Boko Haram members on the basis of repented terrorist.

The joke is on you.

You're talking offpoint. CBN was not joined in the suit, infact, the suit was directed at Bubu whom you voted for twice and we rejected twice

As if before naira redesign, Bubu has not be disobeying court orders like El Zazaki, Dasuki, etc.

May I remind you that you voted for Bubu twice and we rejected him twice so you ought to take responsibility for his misconduct

So why did you take him to federal high court and appeal court which he won?

Even the US are keeping many terrorists like Kanu at the Guantanamo Bay detention camp without taking them to court not to talk of them getting justice.

Re: Anxiety As Supreme Court Hears Nnamdi Kanu’s Case Today by DMerciful(m): 1:08pm On Apr 27, 2023
He won at the federal high court, won at the appeal court, how will he lose at the Supreme Court when the process of bringing him into the country is through extraordinary rendition which is illegal. The Supreme Court cannot endorse an illegal process of extraction and thats which they're avoiding the case!
OmoGomesIlorin:

Adjourning the case is best for Nnamdi Kanu. He is definitely not Innocent of Treason.
=> Inciting People against the Nigeria Government and Nigeria's interest
=> Promoting secession that was against the law
=> A Leader of group that murders security personnel.
=> Illegally installing a radio communication device and broadcasting without a license

If a death sentence is the penalty for treason, the case is better adjourned again

1. The Nigerian army killed people when they hosted Biafra flags so I don't see why he's getting angry for that
2. Can you name in the constitution that says seccession is not promoted?
3. Nnamdi kanu didn't kill anyone I hope you are not mistaking for other Biafra groups
4. That's not enough to prove he should be detained
