The man didn’t steal or embezzled the money. He helped someone to secure a loan, but he failed to disclose it.

Nigerian government officials don’t borrow, they steal public funds.

The only crime Mr. Sharp committed was failing to disclose the loan.

At least he is facing different court cases today. Ranging from paying an escort to having access to some classified documents, etc. Who dares to prosecute a past president here in Nigeria?

There's no perfect system in the world. Every thing has different level. The corruption in UK is nothing close to Nigeria because there's strong hold for accountability and responsibility. Thus no need for your happiness and BTW few cases of corruption doesnt make UK just like Nigeria who's fantastically corrupt.
