Nigerians are genetically corrupt. Even the ones on NL complaining are also corrupt.
Put them in a position of power and see how they also show their corrupt tendencies.
Even you too.

cool I pray, i can change my country seriously.

Some of their immediate ancestors, complained, when Slavery was abolished, they cried to the slave masters, what else can we do, this is all we know. grin grin

This is all you taught us, we cannot suffer our brains to know what is better or do what is better, after all, we will lose a lot of mysterious power over the people. grin grin grin

lacking always, hungry always, cannot seek what is better to do always, wait for new masters cool cool.

Maybe China, knows what is good for US smiley smiley smiley

Let us, wear our big cloths and enjoy grin grin grin

Oga, that was the old order we were trying to change.
How many embassy staff will you invite from all the consulates around the world? Do you think gov all the way to the top don't know Nigerians pay extra to eg renew their passports, that I paid 120k to get a new passport instead of 70k? Or that immigration beg people at the airport, You think they don't know? So you expect Nigerian students to just be evacuated without them paying "something"? Haba, howwww They must pay naa..
must they pay,to who,why are you justifying corrupt practices.

Geoffrey Onyeama needs to work for once in his life. So many Nigerian embassy staff abusing their offices but he is always silent.

It's only Abike Dabiri that works to help Nigerians in times of crises. We don't even remember that we have a minister of foreign affairs. undecided
He's one of the most useless minister under this administration..

Less active, very dull etc. Yet you won't see Igbos calling him out because he's Igbo. It's Abike they focus on simply cuz she's Yoruba. Their bigotry stinks a lot & I'm glad they kept on proving it..

If not for this Abike, Dubai really wanted to ban Nigeria patapata ni..

Just because she's active, they forgot she's not the head of foreign affairs ministry. She has bosses! She's not the one commanding order from the ministry..

Only if Fg had known, they would have made her the foreign affairs minister herself..

But unfortunately in Nigeria, people never get punished for wrongdoing

helinues:
This shouldn't be taken lightly..

All those opportunists should be punished. Why taking advantage of the dicey situation?

The day u stop supporting evil is when you will be taking seriously. You are shouting now that they should be punished but you are one of the main people supporting the sham of election that brought in a president select. You are very ok that a man whose name is shrouded with drugs, forgery and corruption is ascending the highest position of this great natio. You see no evil and wickedness in that. Right within your heart, you know that the election that brought Tinubu was a sham and should be condemned by every patriotic Nigerian who loves this nation and desire great future for our children yet you chose align yourself with darkness. All Tinubu supporters do not have any right or decorum to speak against anything evil or corruption because you and your lots are the enemies of Nigeria

When you misguided folks vote out of tribal and religious sentiments, you think you're doing the country any good

I have seen the thieves lining up to work with Tinubu(who's equally corrupt) and i'm sure that, with them, the current ugly trend will continue.

Only a fool plants a mango tree and still expects to pluck a pear from it.

If ordinarily POS operators could extort people during cash scarcity, then these embassy workers are more capable of extorting the students during war.

99% of these people are from northern Nigerian, their uncle is the current president of the Nigeria. Can our northern brothers see that their leaders are evil now or we should still keep quiet and face our business?
And what if those embassy officials extorting them are southerners?

Our greed for money is second to none and that is a good reason why it is so hard to fight corruption in this country.

I don't wanna bring tribal sentiments into it but you're right that they never mention Geoffrey Onyeama.

Most of those ranting online don't even know who the Minister of Foreign Affairs is in the first place. What a pity.

Oga, I am not justifying corrupt practices. Abi you think I have extra 50k to waste? The truth is that one must face reality. In the Nigerian context as it currently is, you must pay. The system makes sure you do. Why do you think eg passport booklets are made to be scarce? Is it not printed paper? Why do you think to clear a container or car from the port, you cannot predict by yourself how much it will cost. The system is made to be unpredictable. It is intentional to make officials make money.
Until we have sense and genuinely want change, it is either you flow with the system to get what you want or you don't. Those students want to leave the war zone and paid, I needed a passport, I paid.

even with shells and bullets and rebels everywhere our naija diplomats still had the presence of mind to demand egunje from people who they would be travelling with.

naija corruption is indeed something akin to a mental condition
